Web-based MRP software is more and more popular among small and midsize manufacturers. However, prospective users don’t always understand the big benefit of web based MRP (or public cloud-based) software system.

The selection of a new MRP application is always done carefully. After all, most companies want to profit from the new system for many years. Ideally prospective buyers want to work with the new solution for 5-10 years or more.

In 5-10 years’ time a lot can change! What will the world look like in the year 2026? Which devices will we be working with then? How far will the technology be developed? So, in the case of web-based MRP software there is no need to concern about the cost of system change, it is up to date as long as you are using it. This is a big benefit, what is often forgotten.
